Wearing a good quality perfume is a must when you are a celebrity.

 

Celebrity and perfume go hand in hand. Some celebrities even go on to launch their own perfumes.

 

Carry on reading to find out what perfumes your favourite celebrity likes to wear. We are also taking a brief look at what celebs have launched their own signature scents.

 

Beyonce

 

If you like music, you could not have missed the rise of Beyonce.

 

Beyonce first became famous as a member of the girl band Destiny’s Child.

 

In 2003, Beyonce launched her first solo album called Dangerously in Love which spawned the hit single Crazy in Love. Since then, Beyonce has gone from strength to strength. Today, it is estimated this girl from Texas is worth around $800 million.

 

So, what perfume does Beyonce wear? Angel’s Share by Kilian is rumoured to be Beyonce’s favourite perfume.

 

How much does Angel’s Share cost? You have to have pretty deep pockets to buy the eau de parfum. You can expect to pay around £300 for 50ml. That is outside my comfort zone.

 

What perfumes smell like Angel’s Share? If you like to get the same vibe, it is a good idea to look at what notes a perfume contains.

 

The dominating notes in Angel’s Share are sandalwood, praline and vanilla. If you like to copycat Beyonce, the best perfumes to buy are Alien Goddess Intense and Versace Eros Pour Femme.

 

Taylor Swift

 

As we all know, Taylor Swift is another global superstar. At the age of 34, she is worth a staggering $1.1 billion.

What perfumes does Taylor Swift like to wear? According to official sources, Taylor likes to wear Tom Ford’s Santal Blush.

 

If you had a good pay cheque this month, you should be able to pick up Santal Blush for around £220 for 50ml.

 

The dominating notes of aental Flush are ylang-ylang, cumin, cinnamon bark, carrot seed, jasmine, rose and cedar wood.

 

If you like to try a similar scent, look for amber woody fragrances. One of the best dupes in my opinion is Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Ambree Eau. It has a vibrant edge and a richness from ylang-ylang. A great perfume for both daytime and evening wear.

 

Hailey Bieber

 

Hailey Bieber is perhaps most famous for being Justin Bieber’s wife. She is also a model and very much a celeb in her own right.

 

Her go-to perfume is Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. This is a truly beautiful scent with bergamot and rich fruity notes. It also comes with a rather hefty price tag.

 

But, don’t despair - there is an answer. The dominant fragrance is bergamot. I think a good example of a similar perfume is Mugler Alien in the cool purple refill bottle. Another good choice is Black Opium. It is not a million miles away.

 

Elizabeth Olsen

 

Elizabeth Olsen is an American actress from California. She burst onto our screens in 2011 in the movie Silent House. Her most famous movie appearances include Captain America: Civil War, Godzilla and The Avengers.

 

She is a fan of a very exotic-sounding perfume by the name of Diptyque's Philosykos.

 

What does Diptyque's Philosykos smell like?

 

Interestingly enough this fragrance is often described as gender neutral. The main notes are fig leaf and fig fruit, You also pick up on coconut along with green notes enhanced by woody notes including cedar.

 

If you are looking for a fruity as well as cedar-inspired perfume, I would opt for Lancome Tresor Eau de Parfum. This is a good choice. If you are lucky enough, you could pick up a gift box set. If you do, snap it up! Lancome has some of the best gift box sets.

 

Rihanna

 

Rihanna is said to favour Love, Don't Be Shy by Kilian. I love the name of this perfume. It is a nice scent as well.

 

What can you expect from Love, Don't Be Shy by Kilian? This is a complex fragrance. The fact Rihanna likes it tells me she has rather a good nose for perfume.

 

Notes include neroli, bergamot and pink pepper. You also pick up orange blossom, rose and honeysuckle. Let it linger and sweeter notes including vanilla spring into life. As a final flourish, you can enjoy musky tones.

 

If you want to try a similar fragrance experience, I would without a shadow of a doubt go for Mugler Goddess Alien. As a matter of fact, I think Goddess is slightly more sophisticated.

 

Rihanna has also launched her own perfume called Fenty which is very different from Love, Don’t Be Shy.

 

Meghan Markle

 

When Meghan Markle first came to the UK, whatever she wore seemed to sell out in a matter of hours. The press often talked about the Meghan effect.

 

Has the Meghan effect had the same positive impact on Jo Malone London’s Wild Bluebell? This is the scent Meghan likes to wear.

I have been debating which perfume offers a similar experience. The first one that came to mind was Lancome O de Lancome Eau de Toilette so I am going to stick to that. This is a great perfume with floral notes and is very fresh.

 

Emma Stone

 

Emma Stone is an American actress with an Oscar to her name.

 

She has a very exclusive taste in perfumes and is said to love Chanel Les Exclusifs de Chanel Gardénia.

 

The name of the perfume speaks for itself. It is a premier perfume from Chanel with the essence of gardenia. You can also pick up on other notes including orange blossom and jasmine. A hint of vanilla has been added to the final flourish.

 

If you want to avoid the considerable price tag that comes with buying Chanel Les Exclusifs de Chanel Gardénia, I would go for Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia instead. It is a lovely perfume with a great deal of vitality and endurance.

 

Adele

 

I don’t think I need to say too much about Adele.

 

When it comes to fragrances, she is said to love Dior Hypnotic Poison EDP.

 

I think this is a fragrance that never disappoints and always delivers. It is sexy and exotic. You can enjoy dark tones sprinkled with a few sweet highlights from vanilla.

 

A great perfume and excellent value for money. A little goes a long way.

 

Jodie Comer

 

Born and raised in Liverpool, Jodie Comer has become one of Britain’s favourite actresses. I like her because she is so down to earth.

 

Jodie’s favourite perfume is Le Labo Santal 33.

 

The first note I pick up on is violet. But, you also get a hint of iris along with sandalwood and a nuance of leather. I have to say what I think makes this fragrance special is the addition of violet. It is hard to capture. Hence the price tag.

 

Violet is a wildflower and you have to pick a lot to extract its natural fragrance oil. One perfume that offers you the opportunity to enjoy violet as part of its notes is Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia. A great choice for a daytime perfume which works well for dinner out in the evening as well.

 

Olivia Rodrigo

 

Olivia is an American actress and singer. We first met her in the High School Musical. In 2024, she was nominated for a Brit Award thanks to her song ‘Vampire’.

 

When it comes to perfume, Olivia has good taste. She is rumoured to like Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 which is a grown-up fragrance for a 21-year-old.

 

What does it smell like? This is a rich and floral scent. It is a great perfume for date night as it is one of the world’s sexiest perfumes. Amber and saffron are both vital components.

Burberry Her Eau de Parfum is a fragrance you can’t go wrong with if you like a similar experience. It is sexy and feminine at the same time. A good perfume from a brand you can trust to deliver. A bit fruity and cheeky at the same time.

 

Celebs With Signature Perfumes

 

Just because a celeb has launched a perfume, it does not mean they have been involved in the blending of the perfume.

 

Some celebrity fragrances are very good and have been around for a long time.

Why Don’t You Come Across Many Of The Perfumes Celebs Wear on the high street?

 

There is a good reason for that.

 

Most of them are premier scents with top-notch ingredients. As such, they are more expensive and likely to hang around for a long time before they are sold.

 

You will find them sold in branded stores such as Dior, Chanel and leading department stores. Great if you would like to splash out or have a small win on the National Lottery.

 

What do you get? You get a fancy bag and a well-packaged item. You probably get more of a kick out of the shopping experience than anything else.
