Versace Perfumes

Gianni Versace might just be the most illustrious name in fashion. And not simply because the name has returned to the front and centre of our minds because of the excellent biopic that tells the story of the designer’s life struggle (The Assassination of Gianni Versace).

The name is so famous because the family have produced two high-quality designers (Gianni and Donatella) and a plethora of epic ready-to-wear fashion and leather accessory collections. 

Versace set up the company in 1978, but didn’t enter into the world of fragrance until 1981. Gianni Versace or Women was the first release. A perfume that established a sexiness that would continue in all future Versace perfumes for women and men. 

Versace’s murder in 1997, allowed Donatella to continue her father’s legacy, but also stamp her own mark on the fragrance line. She added more floral scents to perfumes such as Versace Crystal Noir, Versace Bright Crystal, Yellow Diamond and more. 

The lemon and pomegranate combination used in Versace Eros for both men and women has quickly become one of the more popular Versace perfumes. Men also enjoy The Dreamer, Dylan and Eau Fraîche.
