Owned by the Estee Lauder group, Aramis brought an unheard of trendy approach to grooming and fragrance in 1964. Starting with their unique brand name which was taken from a character in ‘The Three Musketeers”, Aramis was clever, bold, pushed the boundaries of personal grooming and scent.
The original Aramis for men came in Eau de Toilette form and is now made in a shaving soap and a body wash. If you decide this is the scent for you, go all in and lather yourself all over in its glory.
The Wild West theme ran though most of Aramis’s collection. New West, Havana, Gold and JHL were the favourites of men in the 1980s and 1990s and it wasn’t long before women could get amongst the Aramis way of life with New West for Her in 1990, Tuscany Per Donna in 1993 and Havana Pour Elle in 1996.
More recently Tobacco Reserve, Voyager and Modern Leather have all been developed to help the brand stay relevant through the generations. Tobacco Reserve in particular is set to be a huge men’s fragrance hit.
