Lolita Lempicka Perfumes
The name Lolita Lempicka is derived from the famous novel, Lolita. The female protagonist of the model was so loved by French designer Josiane Maryse Pivida she decided to name her entire brand around the character.
The company initially made wedding dresses inspired by princesses, timeless fashion and fairytales. However, fragrance was responsible for putting Lolita Lempicka on the map.
Beginning with the liquorice smelling Lolita Lempicka for Women (bottled in the shape of a small purple apple), the French brand retained their obsession for fairytales, but this time wrapped it around gourmand scents that were only just starting to command the industry’s attention.
The result of Lolita Lempicka’s first fragrance was a FiFi award in 1998 (Best Women’s Fragrance in the US and France) and a timeless classic. It is known today as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.
The only other Lolita Lempicka perfume to receive significant attention wasElle L’Aime. Another heroine and fairytale inspired number, Elle L’Aime has coconut and floral notes and is designed to be universally worn.
Lolita Lempicka launched its first men's fragrance, Lolita Lempicka Masculine, in 2000 and their most recent male release was the 2018, Lempicka Homme. Men can believe in the power of fairytales too right? Of course they can.
